Father Christmas, Christmas Tree and Knitting

12 Dec

I just love the expression on the face of the Father Christmas on the beautifully decorated Christmas Tree in the lovely Primary School where we sing on Monday evenings.

I have, at last, finished off all the little cardigans I have been making for our expected Grand baby twins. Knitting takes no time at all but sewing all the pieces together, sewing in all the ends and sewing on all the very special buttons takes for ever. For those new readers who don’t know about the buttons – my Grandfather was a button salesman and I have inherited several cards of beautiful mother-of-pearl buttons which I have used on all the baby clothes I have made for all our Grandchildren so they wear buttons that once belonged to their Great Great Grandfather and I just love that!

There are new born, three months and six months sizes and some some hats here, and there are Sallyboots still being made.

Thank you. I am very pleased with how they all look together! Their Mum loves colour so I hope she will be happy with these. 🙂

That Father Christmas looks suspiciously like Mr. Hankey
