Autumn Sunshine in the Garden

31 Oct

It has been the most glorious Autumn day and I have been sitting outside for hours as I have finished off two outfits for our twin Grandbabies due in January. These cardigans have  mother-of-pearl buttons from my Grandfather, the Great Great Grandfather of these babies, as have all the things I have knitted for any of the Live Wires.

They each have little labels in that say,’Handmade with love especially for you.’

Live Wire T left us her butterfly hanging from my monkey planter and the wind had wound them up in a rather pleasing pattern.

Glorious Autumn colours against a cerulean sky!

Happy Hallowe’en everyone.

You always find a way to bring something beautiful into this WordPress and this post is a classic example! I love that you left the butterfly stay all wound up in the monkeys! It brings color to their ordinary existence 🙂 From ordinary to extraordinary right?! Your craftswomanship is once again amazing — your Live Wires are so blessed to have such a talented “Wire” “-)

Happy Hallowe’en to you, too, Sally. I felt good all over thinking of you sitting in the warm sun, finishing up your labor of love.

What a lovely thing to say! I am delighted with the finished items – now to finish the hats and the Sally-boots….
