There are so many Goldfinches in the garden at the moment that they have to take their turn at the feeders. While they wait, they pick up bits from the grass.
We love our little Mermaid by Carol Buller, a local artist, singer and friend.
These beautiful pink buds hold lovely purple flowers, part of my Suffragette border where all the plants are purple, white or green.
Sadly, I have mislaid the label and cannot remember the name. Help anyone?

A suffragette border! And what a beautiful flower! Love the idea of designing garden beds with meaning.

It has been quite a challenge and needs some revamping but I love it! 🙂

Meant to say too – Mum had plants all over her garden with the names of members of the family. I still have her list and keep meaning to do the same myself.🙂

Curves of Mermaid and the curves of tibouchina look much alike. Kinfolk.
Your Goldfinches look different than our Goldfinches.
