Our hike today was along the Widforss Trail, again through woodland to spectacular views.
Tomorrow we leave The Grand Canyon for Tuba City, an overnight stop as we go to Sedona, calling in on an old friend in Flagstaff whom we haven’t seen for 35 years! Happy dayside!

It is views such these which make one feel small. And so it should. People look inward, some skyward, for answers and solace. But, it is places such this where once can find real peace and meaning. Yes am just silly enough to think that.
Happy trails to you and bask in the reunion with your friend. I refrained from using ‘old’.

I am equally silly if that is what it is. Places like this give me immense peace and feelings of deep awe in the face of Mother Earth.
