Weekly Photo Challenge – Frame

27 Aug

We were in St Euny Graveyard this morning doing a bit more research for our Perthi Kov Project when I remembered this week’s challenge and saw an opportunity to frame Carn Brea Castle and the Basset Monument atop Carn Brea through the holes in a memorial shaped as a Cornish Cross.

I’ll tell you more about the project, Perthi Kov, which  means remember in Cornish, at a later date.

Love the cross and its function as a frame.

I was very pleased to be able to focus through the stones to frame the top of Carn Brea. 🙂

Your claim to frame. Agrees with Tina Schell. Even cemetery grass looks ancient.

I think it’s a bit of an unfair advantage to have lovely old castles around for this one, don’t you?!?! Lovely shots

In fact it was an old hunting lodge and is now a restaurant in the castle! Great fun – and yes, we do have an advantage! 🙂
