Guest Post – The Maritime Museum in Falmouth

20 Aug

Today my helper is a littler Live Wire, T who is 5 years old.

Going to the Museum was fun and I loved it and liked it.Version 2

I like my balaclava because my Granny knitted it for me. I’m wearing it because the weatherman said there was a big storm coming.

I  liked the patterns and the colours.

It was fun because I liked the teddies because they looked funny in their Viking outfits.

Driving the yachts

It was fun when I got to move the boats. My yacht was No7.

Down at sea level spotting fish and barnacles

I liked this part because they were stuck on the glass and they looked squishy.

Granny liked the patterns here

My Granny liked the patterns made by the barnacles.

Mummy and I did the same colouring on my dragon. My brother made a shield.

I did a red tongue because my dragon was breathing fire!  I liked my holiday in Cornwall with Mummy and Daddy and J and my Granny and Grandgrand.

You are very special…to your Grandparents…I love that they take you on such adventures…Viking Bears, artwork, sights in the town, water fun…Did your balaclava come in handy…was their any bad weather?… looked like a beautiful day to me…

Firstly ‘T’ am with you, a Dragon without red fire, is simply a big old lizard.

The Viking Bear Hunt intrigues me. Do you suppose big tough Vikings had Teddy Bears? Probably not, but it is a funny thought.

Yarn Bombing, made me smile. Another meaning of yarn is a tall tale or story. And when I was about your age, I constantly talked and came up with lengthy yarns about silly stuff; much to the chagrin of my ‘much’ older brother and sister. Even as an adult some might say, I am still Yarn Bombing.

That certainly was quite the view you had across the harbour upon the boats. And, my Gosh, there is so much more under the ocean beyond our view. Wow!

Thank you for sharing your experience, it brighten my day, and that is a good thing to do.
