New Baby, Cornish Cream Tea and Truro’s Flowers

10 Aug

We have a baby foal in the back field. We think he must have been born last night or even this morning while we were out as he is still a bit wobbly. Just look at his long legs and his beautiful perky ears. His Mum is staying very close whenever he takes a step away from her.DSCN4086 (1)

I loved the knitted strawberries on this cream tea display in a bakery in Truro.

The hanging flower baskets in Truro are fabulous again this year. Every corner turned shows more beautiful planting. These are in front of the Cathedral. A big thank you to the people who plant and look after these gorgeous displays.

Gorgeous little baby! I’ve never seen knitted strawberries before. Glad it was only a display. I would have demanded real ones. 🙂

The foal is gorgeous! I could do with a cream tea right about now. Well maybe an iced tea. We’re in the middle of a scorcher!

Oh, I was going to ask if that is your horse and foal. Nice, indeed, that you can enjoy them without having to actually tend to them. Love the door, too! And the flowers!

We do enjoy watching them and are very lucky that they are in the field behind our garden! 🙂

Yes, we are! Our garden backs onto fields where the horses live so we can enjoy them without any responsbility for them except to ring up if we notice anything unusual, like a foal suddenly there! 🙂
