What fun I had this morning having a ‘silk art experience ‘. I played with what we call marbling in UK and before I have only done it on paper. The queues were so long yesterday that I was there good and early today to make myself a silk scarf in Sufragette colours of Green, White and Violet (Give Women the Vote) Watch the process through the following series of photos. Doug was a brilliant guide through the whole process, very encouraging and clear.
Just after we arrived at the food tent the heavens opened and there was a complete deluge. Water was cascading off the marquee roof.
Later, when the sun came out again we went to listen to the bands and I bought some delicious home made lemonade from two young men, who in between sales were skipping while pogoing!

…but it looks warm, you are all in T-shirts… the marbling is beautiful, and it came out so lovely. what a great pattern with swirling around the colours. Super.

It is very warm and so welcome after the chill of this year’s Spring in Cornwall. 🙂
