Part of our front garden is crowded with daffodils and this delightful little poem by Sue Cowling ,which I read a few days ago, comes to mind when I see them.
Ten Syllables for Spring
daffylonglegs
blowing
buttered trumpets.
Behind the Magnolia tree in the beautiful blue sky the moon was rising.

Daffodils are such lovely blooms and you have perfectly captured a branch of this Magnolia tree.

Thank you. We are so lucky in Cornwall that the daffodils start before Christmas and are still going three months later. Today we drove by field after field of bright yellow blooms. 🙂

Read about Cornwall through books, it’s a dream of a place.
