Friends, Ponsanooth and Rhubarb

Good friends

Good friends

This is what you get when you go to the Ponsanooth village web site! I love it and I’m now off outside!  Thanks, John.

Attention:
You have reached the very last page of the Internet.
We hope you have enjoyed your browsing.
Now turn off your computer and go outside.

There was lots of beautiful pink rhubarb at the greengrocers. I have roasted some with ginger, cinnamon and star anise. I’m looking forward to trying it – not sure whether to have it with ice-cream, creme fraiche or chocolate mousse. What do you think?

The best thing about good friends is you don’t have to ask. They just seem to know what you need.

Exactly so – but my very best friend who could do that the best lives in South Yorkshire, 380 miles away…..

I understand about friends living so far apart. We have moved several times and I miss some special friends.
I just wrote and posted a poem about friends. It was motivated by your post. I didn’t refer to your blog… just telling you. 🙂 Sometimes our best things come on the spur of the moment.

My mother made the best rhubarb pie. I would eat it for breakfast.
