Weekly Photo Challenge – Optimism

28 Jan

What gives me optimism for the future? Our Grandchildren, all lucky enough to be growing up in secure and happy homes with our own offspring and their well chosen partners! They all have a verve for life and for learning and will help to make this a better world.

Our oldest Grandchild, here reading in Catalan, just one of the five languages she can speak.

On the way home after adventures in Highgate Woods, Livewires Two and Three with their Dad.

Cousins, Littlest Livewire with her cousin, Livewire Number Three, cooperating and creating together.

And here we all are in a specially commissioned Family Portait by Kate of Cornishbirdinthesticks. All these wonderful people give me optimism for the future.

worked 30+ years with kids…never unhappy with my job…although I find working with seniors just as fulfilling…maybe going back into childlike ways…

Family is optimism. A great response to the prompt.

I spent my working life with children too and it was wonderful. It is still wonderful when I hear from these young people, now grown and parents themselves. 🙂

Such a great interpretation of this week’s challenge. Children see the world in simple ways and are always eager to learn. That is so beautiful. Often they are the ones who teach us adults the true meaning of happiness. Looks like your grandchildren had a great time both indoors and outdoors 🙂
