There were lots of winter skeleton trees and some green Cypruses, all reflected in the glass wall of a building.
It was such a delight to have help while making lunch today as the oldest of our Live-Wires chopped the red peppers for our Chicken and Red Vegetable Stew.
Those of you who know me well will be able to imagine my delight when I saw this shop display of beautiful Goldenboots. You will also recognise my dismay when I realised that they were simply that, a display, and not for sale. I would so love a new pair of golden Docs!

The ‘Docs’ look like the youngest: Read Newest footwear in that window. Some other styles were around when I was much younger.

Grrrr wordpress is eating up the first time I comment. And it happens on a few other sites as well. It will probably fix itself after the next update or so. Just thought I’d mention it in case it comes up. I am mad at myself, as I knew this but didn’t COPY before posting comment as I have been doing. Here it is again to the best of my recollection.
I zoomed in on your reflective building photograph, so just a few grids of glass and squiggly skeleton tree limbs in the frame. I was reminded of Edvard Munch wood cuts, but then again am weird.
Second photo – and grand mum watching on with her third eye, happy as lark. I get the picture.
And that’s alotta peppers. And alotta red. Considering we approaching the Chinese Lunar New Year, Red symbolizes good fortune and joy. So red vegetable stew is very much a fitting meal for you and family. Good fortune and joy we all need.
Golden Boots -make them an offer, everything has a price. Or you could get a can of gold spay paint and your oft to the races. If they can do it so can you, why even the lovely Mr. S could be your true ‘Golden Boy’.
