We visited some special lovely friends this morning and were very taken by the beautiful penguins visiting their beautifully simple Swedish Nativity scene!

Completely mad! I hear from you in Toronto, a friend in Vermont and my sister in law in Atlanta and all say it is too warm, too windy and too wet for this time of year. Climate warming seems to be upon us already. The floods in the northern parts of UK are horrendous and never been seen before. Hundreds of homes and businesses flooded. Very worrying and dreadful for so many.
