Thanksgiving, Knitting and Last Night’s Full Moon

26 Nov

Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends in America!

Happy-Thanksgiving

It was lovely at singing this morning to see one of our growing-up Choir-babies knitting so carefully. It was a delight too to sing to her baby brother who found it very amusing  and chuckled and chuckled in that fabulous way that only babies can.

Last night’s moon was big and beautiful. These photos were taken about 7pm and when I woke at 2am it was as daylight outside with the whole garden clearly visible in the bright moonlight.

I have mixed feeling about whether it be good or not so, given we do Thanksgiving prior to everyone else. Guess it doesn’t matter that most forget the fact or don’t even know we do the blessing counting earlier in October. And I have had ‘have a good holiday’ today more then one could hit with drum stick. Its just Friday here. But that doesn’t stop me, nor give me a reason from wishing you plenty of smiles, laughter and conversations whether it be with friends, family or the man in the moon. I read the next post, and am sure the party is in full swing at time of posting this comment. Hopefully, no am certain, it is a beautiful thing………….S A L U T !

There is something magical in the ability to live inside the moment and thoroughly enjoy the gifts it brings.

I wonder if there is any hope for me if I took up knitting? I think not. 🙁 It is wonderful to see the young ones starting. It looks so easy. 🙂
