We spent the afternoon in Highgate Woods and in the Pavilion Cafe in the park was a thin obelisk to Peace. It seemed particularly apt for this weekend.
Autumn leaves were everywhere and treasures to be found. This is one of Second Biggest Livewire’s that he brought to show me.
The gates to the woods are charming.

I agree with ‘ladysighs’ about there being more signs for peace. We all need for the words ‘peace, love and tolerance’ to be ingrained into our psyche. Love the obelisk and the beautiful peaceful woodland scenes.

I am of the belief, and truly believe this; the gateway to peace lays in the woods, in the soil, in the wind and water. It is their we will find the answers.

It would be nice to see more little signs about PEACE. They wouldn’t have to be large or intrusive …. just there. Maybe placed on the same signs that say, KEEP OFF THE GRASS or NO TRESPASSING. 🙂 I did say maybe. lol
