There are lots of Kaffir Lilies in the front garden.
We went to see friends this afternoon and were served a delicious freshly baked caked with apples and almonds. I shall have to seek out the recipe! We ate it before I thought of taking a photo!
On the way home we called in at our local organic store and bought a couple of these lovely apples as well as veg for tonight.

The Kaffir Lilies look so delicate. A welcome with warm cake from the oven makes me think of my mother. she seemed to spend her days cooking and baking. Thanks for reviving that memory.
