The bee seems to me to be the symbol of life. Without it we will all die!
As Einstein or perhaps Maurice Maeterlinck in his work “The Life of the Bee” in 1901, said, ” If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe then man would only have four years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man.”

We really need our pollinating creatures – they are all so important. No matter how small our ‘garden’ – perhaps only a pot of lavender – we can all open our own little ‘Nectar Cafe’ for these Very Important Creatures.

Aw, Your Bee-u-tiful things.
There is no question there are less wild bees then when I was a child. So your words send chills down my spine. I seldom see wild honey bee hives.
