My Mum loved the joke of growing Canary Creeper,Tropaeolum peregrinum, in this old bird cage. For the first time in I don’t know how many years, I have been successful in growing the little yellow bird-like flowers in Mum’s bird cage.
2 The tiny cherry tomatoes are reddening up in the hanging basket. We will be able to have one each quite soon!

3 I think the shape of this nearly open blue Agapanthus is quite remarkable and very beautiful. I’ll show you again when it opens right up.

That Agapanthus about to open looks like sculpture, but then it is nature’s sculpture. Does the Canary Creeper sing

I wish it did! That’s what Mr S said about the Agapanthus too. It is rather lovely isn’t it? 🙂

I learn something new every day, and today, read about Agapanthus, and of course I google the Agapanthus to discover the history and various varieties. Thank you for a beautiful photograph posting.

First one: priceless for the obvious reasons -mom, canary creeper busting out and finally success. Yahoo! Me thinks, livewire is in your blood.
Second: Envious, moi.
Third: In the womb. Not busting out, rather more like natural birth.
The real world, or how it should occur does exist doesn’t it; in you garden proper. Every day, every new season, the plot thickens. In a way, I suppose one could reason, our gardens are Shakespearean plays; theater for the common/calming man/lady.

There is something so special in well done garden art. I really enjoyed the shot of the agapanthus.
