Our Best Beloveds suggested we have a party for Independence Day so I ordered bunting and a tablecloth and we prepared sliders, totally new to us and very delicious, made hot dogs, various salads and a Cheesecake and had a brilliant time.

As someone from across the pond—in Maine—I must say your Fourth of July feast was pretty close to ours. Lovely cheesecake.

There’s that cheesecake, yet again. Your such show off. Perfect burgers no filler. Heinz and Hellman’s that surprised me. What no Roast Beef and Horseradish Potato chips, which floored me when I was in the UK.
A feast fit King and Queens, but am sure smiles and laughter were plenty without that lot.

Smiles and laughter indeed! It was such a lovely day. Children all gone now and just one more day with our Best Beloveds who return to the US on Tuesday….. a very busy and happy 18 days. 🙂
