The Kiss, English and Love

18 Jun

We have had a very odd and trying day so just a couple of beautiful things that came my way via friends. The first is very beautiful in the face of war and destruction. It makes me both tearful and hopeful. The second will make any English speaker smile and any learner of English wince. With love to you all, my dear Readers.

Perhaps it is all the confusion of language that causes these conflicts? As Eckhart Tolle said – it is a allure to accommodate competed get narratives …

I agree English is hard and so many exceptions to the rules… Well there are probably no rules so no exceptions.. 🙂 One can still manage to learn it…. 🙂

Beautiful is art. More beautiful, is it’s poignancy in the aftermath of war.

The Kiss in Syria is very poignant … but the poem did make us laugh. Thanks for sharing. I hope you are now able to put your trying day behind you.
