1 Actually, I have always thought this teapot is ugly! I inherited it from my beautiful and wise Mum, who died 21 years ago today, and in whose family it was for years. There is a plate to stand it on or to serve the biscuits to go with the tea and the spout is the bigger fish swallowing a smaller fish. It made my Mum laugh and actually, today as I unwrapped it, I decided that I quite like it too!
2 It is good to see bees at the Lavender.
3 The White Poppies are beautiful underneath as well as from the top.
I am taking a break from blogging for a little while. It won’t be for long as I shall find it hard! Stay well, stay safe, smile and be kind to everyone you meet as you never know what goes on in other lives.

Fabulous teapot! made me laugh too. Our Locust trees are in full bloom right now, and they hum all day long. All kinds of bees and butterflies are enjoying my annuals & perennials. I am sure you do need a break. I shall miss the daily blog.

If the teapot makes you laugh that’s a good thing … It is a bit odd, but one must appreciate the artist who created it !
