We spent the morning on Wretham Heath investigating everything! From rabbit droppings, rabbit skulls and rabbit holes, the favourites, to rook’s egg shells, empty snail shells and anything close to the ground that moved.
In the afternoon we discovered the old ruins of Thetford Priory, fascinating for B and ourselves. There were faces carved in stones, doorways to go through and steps to climb. The first stone was laid in 1107 and the monks first moved in in 1114.
3. B had a wonderful time!

I love the photos of your granddaughter. Only seeing the back of her or the top of her head adds a bit of mystery to your photos.

B is constantly looking and commenting. As her adoring Grandparents, we are amazed at her knowledge and vocabulary. She can recognise the cry of a pheasant and the call of the Green Woodpecker and she told me about the rabbit droppings! She was two a week ago! 🙂
