Silver Birch, Haberdashery and Cuddling Cousins

16 Apr

1. In the distance, in the forest, between two pines, a twisting Silver Birch.

2. In Bury St Edmunds I spotted a haberdashery shop and loved its quirky display.

3. We had a picnic in the Abbey Gardens and serendipitously Grandbaby B’s cousin, J, turned up with his Mum. These two little people love each other dearly!

They are lucky to be living nearby and to be able to see each other every week. I never really knew my cousins when I was growing up.

I have a cousin that was born on the same day…so made us quite close…also same hospital!…and another cousin is more like a sister…even though living in Tennesee… we talk 3-4 times a week!

I have the same quirky items in a drawer. 🙂 But if I set it out on a display shelf of my bookcase, it would just look like junk. 🙁

Funny isn’t it? Some people just have the eye for the quirky. My things will stay in drawers too! 🙂
