1 Our lovely neighbour Sue, called in yesterday to tell me all about her wonderful experiences in Bhutan and she very kindly brought us some beautiful gifts. Click on each photo to see the caption.
2 Spring really is here – we spotted some seedlings growing happily in the wall garden.
3 I bought some beautiful new yarn today, 78%cotton and 22% silk. I have already knitted 2″ of the trousers and it is knitting up beautifully! back to work!

Bhutan, I first learned of this tiny country in Michael Palin’s ‘Himalaya’. And if I was ever offered an opportunity to travel there, I would in a heart beat. Gosh, you have to admire a country that measure it’s wealth not by GNP per-say but rather by Gross National Happiness.
Also I have tried posting a comment on ‘Live Quietly, Daffodils and An Artefact’ twice now, with no luck. Not sure why it is not going through.

I don’t know why either. I haven’t closed comments.
I love the philosophy of Bhutan too. I wrote about it when I put the first Guest post from Bhutan and talking to my neighbour since she came back, have learned more about this tiny country with such a positive attitude.

What an interesting combination of colors for the embroidery project. Nice set of gifts.
I eat oats every morning. They are said to be heart healthy. 🙂
