Shadows, Tulips and Little Gems

20 Jan

1 I love how the low winter sun lights up items on our dresser in the kitchen. Here the beautiful curly handle on the Jane Hamlyn salt glazed mug is highlighted and so is the rich blue of the long spout jug.

2. Our friends yesterday brought some lovely tulips in purple, white and green, the Suffragette colours and the low sun lit up some of the blooms this morning.

3. A delightful little present arrived from America today, a tiny pair of scissors, less than two inches long and perfect for keeping handy for my crafty projects.

I love this post! I have to laugh. Today I was talking to my mom about how the sun makes me want to clean.. it shows all the dust and dirt that has collected over the winter. However, you are soooo right! The sun and shadows create a lot of artistic inspiration!

        You are welcome
It is not on the top of my list either… However, I live in north Montana and we get a lot o dust here. Funny how that works. 🙂

Northern Montana is beautiful. You really should visit! Google Glacier park and you’ll see what I mean. One could spend a lifetime exploring the mountains here. And the wildlife, oh my..

I’ve been noticing the sunlight too…it makes objects into pieces of art!
