I had a total hip replacement 7 years ago. I think you’ll find you won’t be anywhere near that long on crutches — especially if you do your physiotherapy, and walking. I was held back briefly by my own fear of the pain; I think I was mistakenly afraid the pain might mean I was causing harm. Before long the hip improved my life so much, I called it a “modern miracle”. At 73 I can walk briskly, further than many 50-year-olds. With your attitudes, you’ll soon be doing great things 🙂 Best of luck in your recovery!

Thank you for that positive and inspiring comment. It’s really good to hear how fit you feel and I intend to be reporting the same kind of stuff before too long.
All the very best to you, Sally 🙂
