Shopping, Christmas Flapjack and A Visit

15 Dec

1   I spent a lovely morning with my good friend N and was able to introduce her to my favourite shop, Cornish Bird in the Sticks. We both bought several beautiful things for those we love so I can’t show you photos. I can show you a lovely little pinafore dress that I plan to buy for Grand-baby B in the New Year.

2   We also went for a coffee in our favourite coffee shop, The Organic Coffee House, also on Bond Street,in our little town, Redruth. There we shared a delicious Cranberries and White Chocolate Flapjack!!

Scrumptious!

3   We thought we weren’t seeing any family until New Year but now KJ and the children are coming for the weekend. What a treat!

You probably know in the USA, flapjacks are pancakes. 🙂 I guess we would call this other kind some kind of bar or square.

I didn’t know that! I guess it might be called a muesli bar as it is mostly oats and fruit cooed with butter and syrup. All the best to you for Christmas and the New Year. 🙂
