Roe Deer, Ice-cream and Sunset

13 May

1   We had a delightful visitor in the field behind our garden this morning – a female Roe Deer. She watched us for a while and then went across the field and up through the hedge to the cricket ground……  We have lived in this house for more than six years and have never seen a deer in the field before – a very rare treat!

2   I had lunch with a good friend today and then went for a walk round Castle Drive to see the bluebells and treated myself to an ice-cream!

3   Another Knit and Natter Night tonight and another piece finished by M. As we knitted for peace we were able to watch a beautiful sunset.

Wonderful sunset, and with that Ice – cream in your hand just makes it better. 🙂

Spot a deer in a field, the world stops, bad days reduced to ash, the spirit rises. If not a good omen, the at least worth a green.

Ice cream. On chocolate dip honey cone.Hoooooooo ha. Ice cream cones make me feel younger till the last drip and lick.

If I could see Bluebells every day…I would be happy…what a beautiful flower…and I so wanted a bite of your ice cream…One of my cravings lately since it is getting warmer!
