Backlight, Rosebud and Knitting

1   I love the way the sun is lighting this Clematis from behind and lighting up all its veins.

Beautiful knitwork for a great cause. Love all of that.
The clematis used to grow up a runner by our Buffalo porch. Your shot is spectacular! And the only time I don’t like backlighting is on TV, when actors are lit from the back and you can see through their ears! Something about that nags at me. Nice to see you, Margaret! amy

Most people, camera in tow, shy away from back lighted subjects, especially in those naturally occurring. It can be challenging. Some would use a flash or reflective light. Me, I say go for throat and shoot as is. Chances are you’ll end up with pleasant and surprisingly interesting images -just like these. Good shtufffs you.

The knitting, the cause -what can say that you haven’t already said with you needles. Energetic hands, a compassionate spirit can only do good work.
