New Sewing Tool, Bee and Dartmouth

08 Apr

1   After a necessary quick visit to Hayle this morning we had a delicious late breakfast at Johnny’s Café. I found a new specialist sewing tool there in their unexpected haberdashery dept! It’s a Bamboo Point Turner and I love it! They also sell freshly baked bread and cake, a piece of which I brought home for tea but ate it before I remembered that I meant to take a photo! It was Chocolate and Ginger and just scrumptious. The whole setting is delightful, with recycled furniture, wonderful views acorss the Hayle estuary and to St Ives and the friendliest service. It was such a pleasure after a somewhat trying morning.

3    We then drove to Dartmouth for the afternoon. What a picturesque place it is. Sadly, we didn’t have time to look around on this trip.

I thought you’d say you ate the bread before the tea 🙂

You’ve made me want breakfast for dinner tonight.

It was good, it was very good! We were hoping for lunch but were too early so the breakfast had to suffice – and it certainly did that! 🙂

The full vegan looks good. I’m intrigued by the haberdashery department! I’ve been to Johnny’s, and it’s not exactly Debenhams!

No but it has items there I’ve never seen before! I shall be back, both to eat and to buy more stuff! 🙂
