1 This morning the low beams of the winter sun caught our homegrown plaited onions and made them even more beautiful.
2 We had a walk around the Great Flat Lode behind our house today. There was a surprising amount of colour – golden gorse, Pink Campions, red berries and lovely green moss with ivy leaves and, on this crisp clear day, a very good blue view of the sea on the North coast of Cornwall.
3 I’ve made Raw Chocolate Brownies this afternoon for some friends on Tuesday. They are surprisingly fudgy and yummy!

You had a better day than we had in the northeast, so nothing new there 🙂 Very impressed by the plaited onions – almost a shame to eat them…….the chocolate brownie, on the other hand, should be eaten in one sitting.

What a lovely part of the world you live in. The view is beautiful. I love the bunch of onions hanging. I never ate onions before marrying. How one’s ways change with the ” I Do!” 🙂

You are right, the sunlight did make your onions look beautiful. How long do you hang them up to dry before you use them?

I start using them straight away. That’s how I store them. I use any with soft necks first. In fact i don’tl plait those. Thank you for calling in.:)

Good to see where you live. Such wonderful countryside and of course the sea. Is your house the one with the white wall?
