1 There are so many beautiful hanging baskets in our small town, adding colour up and down the streets. The flowers inside and outside the opticians caught my eye.
2 There are striking white flowers on the Convolvulus all along the paths.
3 On the way up from town I liked the way the grasses were backlit by the sky. I took this photo in colour but the rather lovely effect is almost monochrome.

Grasses against the sky reminds me of a Japanese screen…….or something. It is so delicate and beautiful. Of course I have only ever seen a Japanese screen in pictures.

That’s a lovely comparison – I know just what you mean and I have only seen such a screen in pictures. 🙂

What fun…love the grasses against the sky photo….and the eye photo – reminds me of a internet nonsense piece I saw about 13 real Hobbit-style houses people live in…I bet this is where they shop, the cascading flowers and all…real Hobbity.
