2 The Jay hung around long enough for a photo this morning. They are usually so skittish that photos are impossible.

3 In Exeter again today, we saw ‘The House That Moved’. Dating from the 14th Century, it was about to be knocked down to make way for a road in 1961 but someone had the bright idea of moving it so that’s what was done. My father and grandfather moved a church and 2 houses, and there was a restaurant in the next little town in Kansas, built in a 2-story house that was moved.

That Gourd tunnel is awesome! I love all the different sizes and colours, brilliant! So glad they decided to move that house and save it, it’s such a beautiful building! Thanks for sharing the story 🙂
