Longtails, Independence and Help in the Garden

20 Aug

1   The feeder was full of Long Tailed Tits this morning, a dozen at a time but they are so skittish, I only managed to catch a few on camera. I love how they live in big family groups.

2   Our Grandchildren and their parents are with us for a holiday, T loving to escape with her scooter.

I'm off!

3   J was a very willing helper in the vegetable garden, collecting beans and then topping and tailing them

Your photos, Sally, are portraits of happiness. Your blog is special for that.

Have seen my own grandkids do that…had them fix supper and you would have thought fish sticks and macaroni / cheese was the best!

That looks like a great way to spend time in the garden.

Did she enjoy eating them as much as picking them?

Interesting that! At home beans are a no-no, having actually picked them, they were all eaten! 🙂
