Sunset looked promising last night so we headed for the North coast and were there just in time to catch a fleeting glimpse of the sun as it sank into the sea.

      Yes, unlike some of our sunsets which are quite vivd and almost harsh, this has a gentle glow about it that really pleased me. Thank you for your comment. 🙂

    Looks like you might have been able to see the green flash. Look it up in Wikipedia if you don’t know about the green flash.

    This is wonderful and so peaceful. It looks like a great spot to watch the daylight dwindle away.
