Lupin, Camellia and Living Well

22 Apr

1    They had just finished watering at the garden centre and the lupin leaves were holding onto the droplets as lupins are inclined to do.

3   I love these words and just though I’d share them with you!

“You’ve gotta’ dance like there’s nobody watching,
Love like you’ll never be hurt,
Sing like there’s nobody listening,
And live like it’s heaven on earth.
(And speak from the heart to be heard.)”

They were spoken by William W. Purkey, a man who received many accolades for his outstanding teaching.  He used to end speeches with this poem. I wish I had known it when I was teaching – I would have followed his example and closed my classes with it too!

I love hiking in my nearby mountains where lupines thrive in abundance. I have become very fond of getting into the mountain meadows and seeing the lupines bloom…love your lupin photos.

I didn’t realise that lupins grew so freely in meadows! I have only seen them in gardens. I bet they are very lovely when growing freely. I’d love to see that. 🙂
