1 We discovered a new lane on our very brisk walk in temperatures of -2* with the wind chill taken into account – a very sudden change from 8.5 on Thursday.
2 I love the bright red wheels on the low loader in the car-park.
3 Being somewhat of an ailurophile, I was delighted to find this beautiful cat just waiting for its portrait to be taken.

Love the cat – love the wheels, and oh – the English lane… there is nothing like an English lane, as Vera Lynn knew !!
So narrow that only one horse and cart could travel along it… and the mossy stone walls, and the trees… I can feel another poem coming on… oh to be in England, now that… no I’ll leave you to the snow….my grandson arrived for his gap year two weeks ago, and has experienced cold and snow like he could never imagine!!!

Thank you for appreciating my photos. Where is your Grandson on his gap year? This cold weather is very unseasonal; this time last year the temperature was 20*! 🙂

I like The New Lane. But tell me. How do you ever find anything new? I would think that by now you have taken pictures of it all and then some. lol
I did learn a new word today. Guess which one it was. (starts with ‘a’)

I only learned it a few days ago and was delighted to see a cat today so that I could use it! 🙂
