1 This year I have resolved to keep my wool collection in a more organised fashion and for my birthday, the lovely Mr S bought me this compartmented display box in beautiful mango wood. Today, I have sorted all my bits and balls of wool and am very pleased with the result. Each one as I put it away is full of memories of what I knitted and for whom – it’s lovely! 2 I’ve started knitting The Snowman’s Snowdog (it’s a bit tricky) but I love the way the ball of wool turned into a snowball as soon as I took off the wrapper!

3 The Schizophragma hydrangeoides, in the front garden, has the most beautiful skeletal flowers just barely hanging on its branches.

Thank you. The people in the shop wondered why we wanted to buy one of their display units and were intrigued when I said I was going to put wool in it. I’ll have to send them a photo.

I have a photocopy – could pop it through the door – or you could pick it up online at Teddies for Tragedies – they are really sweet and very quick to do.

That’s right! I hadn’t thought of it quite like that but, yes, they are now all framed. Just wondering where the next lot will go….. Perhaps I’ll be needing another box……. 🙂

Goodness, that yarn is pretty but I bet it is tricky to knit – I don’t think my eyesight would hold up to that challenge! Can’t wait to see the end result 🙂

Thank you for that link. At the moment I am knitting for Grandchildren of our own and friends but I have plans to knit tiny things for our local premmie unit. I will check out your link for when the balls become too small for things but would go together in squares.
