Smiles, Snowdog and Sky After Stormy Shower

29 Dec

1 When I sorted out the children’s room I discovered that the toys on the windowsill had all been sitting in condensation. I put them on the bathroom radiator to dry and they’ve given us smiles each time we’ve been in.

2 I was told that there is a pattern for the Snowman’s Snowdog in Women’s Weekly magazine so off I went to buy it. There was enough blue sky to make a sailor a pair of pants as my Aunty used to say so I didn’t take an umbrella. Mistake! The heavens opened and I was drenched but I did get my magazine. Next knitting project now decided!

3 As I arrived home, the stormy shower stopped as suddenly as it began and left us this beautiful sky.

I have a particularly bad internet connection problem and as yet haven’t been able to see your photographs. But your take on some positive elements of the (norms?) each day should be inspirational for many.
Thank you for visiting my page and liking (my about me needs an update as I have returned to the UK one week ago already..)

The snow dog is hand-knit? Cool!
And the rain stopped just as you got home, not before 🙂 Life.

I’m working on knitting the Snowdog! It’s quite hard! I’ll post a photo as soon as I’ve finished him! 🙂

He’s very sweet isn’t he? Here we have a cartoon that is shown every Christmas about a boy and a snowman. It’s delightful – you may be able to find it online. This year there was a new cartoon about a boy and a snowman – and – a snowdog!

I’m knitting one at the moment but it’s quite hard! 🙂

    AnElephantCant help thinking
His Beautiful Friend could get a big surprise
If in the middle of the night
She switches on the bathroom light
She may see the toys dancing rock n roll before her startled eyes

Now wouldn’t that be something! What a delightful idea! To The Stones’ Brown Sugar perhaps? 🙂

I’m working on it. It’s harder than knitting baby clothes! 🙂
