Loe Beach, Pill Creek and A Blazing Sky

08 Dec

1   As a teenager, I used to cycle the 5 miles from Truro to Loe Beach to ‘hang out’ with friends. It is a very beautiful place full of lovely memories.

2  We came to Cornwall from Birmingham when I was 6 years old. Pill Creek was my first real view of Cornwall as we were driven to our first home by an old family friend who had met us at the train station.  I’m sure you’ll understand why I fell in love with Cornwall!

3   The sky as we drove home became more and more golden and was this wonderful colour by the time  we arrived.

Wow, it looks just so fresh, the places you visit.

That dim one of the father & son fishing, I had to get my head around. I didn’t read the caption – first thought they were people in the water, & thought how bizarre everyone’s heads were exactly round AND thought ‘HOW can they go swimming in that dark murky water???’ Think I’ll read captions first now!

Thanks for your message. Working on today’s? You’re amazingly regularly 🙂

Finally you got some wonderful weather for photography. Bit damp and miserable here today, so I visited a friend’s weaving studio this morning, hung out with her, spindle spun a little, crocheted some snowflakes, snacked, and had a lovely time. Oh, and I BOUGHT a knitted hat from her, just because – it fit me and matched my coat!

Beautiful blog (why is mine so ugly?), photos and story to tie everything together. Lovely job!
