Brimstone Moth, Choir Babies and Purple Passion

06 Sep

1   I found a beautiful yellow moth on the bedroom door frame this morning. It seems it is a Brimstone Moth Opisthograptis Luteolata.

2   The Choir-babies were a delight this morning, beginning to take an interest in each  other. T loved the bubbles!

3    I called into the Nursery on the way home looking for a purple clematis in flower now to add to our Suffragette Garden which is nearly planted up. I didn’t find one but did find this amazingly beautiful Purple Passion Flower.

Love the moth and I have to say…passion flowers are the most unusual flower. There is so much going on !

Passion flowers are quite remarkable aren’t they – not sure I really like them but they are dramatic. Turned out that one was for conservatories only so I didn’t get it after all. 🙂

Clematis is always beautiful, but I think you did just fine with the Passion Flower!

    Keep writing…

I went back to get the Passion Flower today after consulting with Mr S only to discover it wants to live in a conservatory -which we don’t have! I did find a purple clematis at another nursery this morning and that is now planted. I’ll post photos when we’ve finished the whole plot.
Thank you for your encouragement! I’ve tried Haiku today! 🙂
