Forgotten Foxglove, Vegetable Ring and Fuchsias

05 Jul

1   We discovered this fallen-over self-seeded foxglove some time ago and brought it out of hiding. Now it has straightened itself up.

Forgotten foxglove

2   I made a mini vegetable ring today (as I saw demonstrated at the Pampered Chef party). I had no recipe but did what I thought I remembered and it has worked. I’ll put the recipe up on my Recipe page soon.

Vegetable Ring

2  The fuchsia flowers in our harlequin hedge are in flower. Many years ago, I was given these beautiful earrings to remind me of my beloved Cornwall.

Very precious present

Love the fuchsia earrings! If I lived closer to the coast where the weather is a little cooler, I’d have a million fuchsias.

They are very beautiful and grow in the hedges here in Cornwall 🙂

Glad all three hit the spot! The vegetable ring is surprisingly easy to make but looks really difficult! 🙂

That is a yummy vegetable ring – for the holidays I make a cherry cheese ring, recipe also from Pamper Chef. I think I will be making the vegetable ring for Sundays dinner now that you made me hungry for one. 🙂 Blessings for a wonderful day! Patty

I’ve written it up and wonder if I could send it to you for feedback. The feedback form needs an email address which I can’t find on your page/profile but I will understand if you don’t want to give it to me. If that’s the case I’ll just ask that you comment asap and advise if I need to make anything clearer and I can edit it asap.
      Happy days! 🙂

Oh, the fallen Foxglove now proudly aright is truly lovely. Fancy actually growing itself upward again – that says so much about the NATURE of things…

You’re amazing how you cook so often. I’ve got to say though, this vegetable ring reminds me of a vegetable pastie – which I LOVE. I wonder if you might post the recipe for it? Or if not post it, sincerely, I would appreciate the recipe. I feel I’d like to give this one a go, and with the weekend at my feet, I have the time…. only if it wouldn’t be too much trouble.

    Have a wonderful day 🙂

I’ve had them for 20+ years so don’t know if the artist still makes them. I do love them! 🙂
