1 At last it stopped raining and we were able to give the garden wall its first coat – on its way to becoming beautiful.
2 This afternoon I made the Lime and Ginger Cheesecake and put it in the freezer ready for the family reunion in July.
3 More cooking this evening as I went across the road to a Pampered Chef Party where two super dishes were demonstrated but the highlight of the evening was meeting so many of the lovely people in our road whom I had never met before. The Chef showed us how to make this fabulous Mediterranean Vegetable Ring (which I shall be making and putting onto the Recipe pages before too long) and then we were able to eat it! Delicious!

The wall is looking beautiful!!!
I loooove pampered chef! I have so much of their stuff, haha. My mom used to be a consultant, and I got all her stuff when she stopped and I moved out 😉

You lucky person! It’s lovely stuff, especially the stoneware! 🙂

Haha, the stoneware is the one thing I don’t own. I can’t stand to touch it; it gives me chills just imagining it! Apparently this is a common issue; my mom and our current favorite representative both have had numerous people say the same thing!
I do have the full set of nonstick cookware, and it is amazing. So, so amazing!

That’s very interesting! I liked the look of it but didn’t touch it and I didn’t buy any because it was very expensive and now I’m glad I didn’t! 🙂

I should also add that my Aunt has basically every piece of stoneware and LOVES it. Just make sure you can stand the feel of it before purchasing, haha.

There are many things that I need to be
getting on with in my gardens but unfortunately
the weather has other plans so I will just have
to wait until the Summer comes 🙂 lol
That wall has been transformed and when your
plants start blooming there will be a lovely colour
to compliment your hard work 🙂 Now enough on
the gardening, where’s our scrumptiously looking
Mediterranean Vegetable Ring? 🙂 lol Well I am
certainly going to enjoy that recipe when you add
it here on your Space 🙂 Soon I hope 🙂 lol
Have a lovely day today 🙂

I have to shopping before I can bake it myself. It’s just started raining (hope it doesn’t spoil the 2nd coat of paint!) so I may go out to the shops! Enjoy tonight’s football. We will 🙂

June 23, 2012 at 3:27 pm
Yes but can you really just shop for ingredients
when there are all those boutique dresses to be had? 🙂
Have a wicked evening 🙂

Actually I can! Shopping for ingredients or books or stationery and I’m happy. Shopping for clothes is much harder because I know exactly what I want and it takes some finding. Once I have what I like, I keep it for years! 🙂

What a delightful formula,
I will have to mention this
idea to Jen but I know it
will fall upon deaf ears as
she adores shopping for
clothes 🙂
Have a very nice afternoon
and equally, a lovely evening 🙂

Waiting for the Lime & Ginger Cheesecake recipe. I think it will be the perfect thing for our spinning guild swimming pool party next month. SS.

It is delicious and very suited to a big gathering – only small slices needed as it is both tall and rich! 🙂
You might like the Chocolate Torte that I’m about to make too, also for the reunion, also suited to large numbers. 🙂
Can’t imagine a swimming pool party! Must be fun 🙂

AGREED, Onthehomefront & beyond. This is THE best place to visit. It sort of puts things in perspective some days, just has me smile some days, MAKES ME HUNGRY some days…. It’s “all good”. 🙂
